A god excuse
Eric had a plan to tell Stacy about a very profitable idea he thought she would like, but he couldn’t elaborate on the phone because he didn’t want her to claim it as theirs.
He said it because he had no money-making ideas.
Tomorrow is scheduled
But luckily for Eric, the assistant he spoke to bought it, and she set up a meeting between him and Stacy. They could not do it today as Stacy was apparently not in good mood (Eric could have a guess why), but they scheduled it for tomorrow.
