Mark’s release
Mark was released immediately from police custody at the conclusion of the review. Mark embraced his two sons and wife in a reunion filled with joy and relief. When they returned home, the police had already taken on the delicate task, working with military personnel who were specialized in explosives, of removing the bomb safely from their yard.
The property, in spite of the obvious signs of excavation, now emanated a tranquil and peaceful aura. Unbeknownst, in the months to come, these echoes would resurface and cause another upheaval.
