As the evening grew darker, the warm glow of the lights in the house contrasted with the darkening skies outside. Toby and Brian carefully stepped through the front door of the welcoming home. They were met by an elderly man seated comfortably in a plush chair.
They slowly lifted their eyes from the newspaper that this man was reading. He furrowed his eyebrows in a mixture of confusion and surprise, as if he hadn’t anticipated the presence of unknown guests in his living-room.
