Look around the yard.
The brothers summoned their courage and decided to explore their yard in the hope that it would provide some evidence supporting their father. Although the landscape was peaceful and bathed in a soft glow at twilight when the brothers arrived, the urgency of the mission created an air of tension. The team remembered the exact spot where they found the object in their garden, and searched for a similar location on the property.
If they found another anomalous item or signs of recent digging it would strengthen their belief that the previous owner was involved. Each discovery, however small, would weaken the case against their dad. The two kept reminding each other that, despite their intrusive actions, they were motivated by one goal: to clear the name of their father and expose the truth.
