Checking for old documentation
Mark began to search through the documents and paperwork related to the home. The records that were stashed away five years after the move might contain some important information about the previous owner of the house. He sifted the documents, looking for the contact information of the man who had sold them the house.
It was hoped that this person might know something, however remote, about the mysterious object buried in a garden. This was a very long shot. It was a gamble that would have to be taken on serendipity. Mark was compelled, given the oddity of the situation to exhaust all possible avenues of inquiry. Who knows? Who knows?
