Night time Vision Disturbances

Another common complication after Lasik is night vision problems. Halos and glare can be experienced at night, especially when the pupils dilate. In dim light, the pupils can dilate beyond the normal corneal area, causing spherical distortions. It is possible that a decentered ablation could also cause nighttime visual disturbances. This is rare, but it can happen to some people. Topography is used by advanced tracking systems to detect decentered ablations.
