After-surgery

It is important to follow your eye doctor’s advice after LASIK. You will need to have a consultation between 24 and 48 hours after surgery. During this appointment, the eye surgeon will examine your eyes and check your vision. Your eye surgeon may prescribe antibiotics or steroids to prevent inflammation.
You may experience some fluctuations and vision disturbances during the next six months. You may experience symptoms of night vision or dry eyes, such as halos and glares. You may need to schedule additional appointments in order to monitor your healing and eye recovery. Your appointments are vital to your vision and complete recovery. You can’t avoid them.
