Why choose laser correction?
Laser presbyopia surgery offers all the advantages of laser vision correction, including:

- There may be some discomfort or pain with the epi-LASIK and PRK versions of the procedures (compared to LASIK).
You must have presbyopia to be eligible for laser vision correction. You must be at least 21 years old, have stable vision and no history of eye disease. You must also have realistic expectations about the outcome. If you use methods that involve the insertion or replacement of artificial lenses, such as refractive lens interchange (RLE), then you will not be a good candidate for presbyopia surgery.
