T-cell therapy
The doctor attaches specific protein receptors to the cancer patient’s T cells before reinserting them into the body. T cells with receptors enable the immune system to identify and eliminate malignant cells. T-cell therapy is also known as T-cell therapy with chimeric antigen receptors (CAR). CAR T-cell therapy is an efficacious method for the treatment of blood cancers.
