Embolus Pulmonaire

Most PE patients with abdominal pain also lack typical PE symptoms, resulting in a rising rate of misdiagnosis. Stomach pain typically occurs in the upper abdomen, particularly in the ipsilateral region of pulmonary lesions. The majority of cases involve lower basal/lobe infarctions or emboli. The reduction of abdominal pain symptoms in the perception of PE and the neglect of crucial PE information underlying abdominal disease guidance are the primary causes of misdiagnosis.
