Urinary tract infection (UTI) is an infection of the urinary system. UTIs typically cause bladder-specific symptoms, such as urinary discomfort or turbid urine. Consequently, the bacteria causing the infection may affect the abdomen, particularly the lower abdomen. You may experience significant pain, pressure, and discomfort. This may be one of the causes of abdominal discomfort.
