Lactose sensitivity
Lactose intolerance is a condition in which you are un
able to metabolise lactose, the milk sugar. It is a widespread issue that may affect nearly 68% of the population. Typically, the lactase enzyme is produced by the small intestine to break down lactose molecules. If you have lactose intolerance, your body does not produce enough of this enzyme to effectively break down the milk sugar when you consume milk products.
