The whispering voices
The investigators still had not figured out why they heard the voices and other sounds inside the tomb. The officer told them to laugh and that investigators also had an answer for this.
They were arrested for having other people in the tomb! Emma and Chris were surprised when they learned the reason…
Grave robbers
Grave robbers they were! They had found the tomb’s entrance after hearing rumors of a hidden treasure in the area. They never found the room, but Chris did.
The robbers also locked the door behind them so that they couldn’t escape.
