Hemorrhoid stapling

Hemorrhoidopexy or hemorrhoidopling is a procedure where the surgeon stops the blood supply to the hemorrhoidal tissues. This method is used for internal hemorrhoids. The stapling does not cause any more pain than the hemorrhoid surgery, and the patient can resume their normal activities sooner. Stapling is associated with a greater risk of recurrence than hemorrhoid surgery. This occurs when a part of the rectum separates from the anus. Hemorrhoid surgery can also cause urinary retention and pain in the anus and rectum. Sepsis and blood infections are also possible, but rare.
