Rubber band ligation
A doctor will try to wrap one or two small band around the hemorrhoids to stop the blood flow. The banded hemorrhoid tends to fade and eventually fall off within a week. The hemorrhoid-banding procedure can be uncomfortable and cause bleeding. However, it’s very helpful.
