Paget’s disease of the bone
Paget’s disease is common in the feet and most commonly affects the calcaneus. The rear of the foot may grow asymmetrically due to disruptions in growth and dissolution. This makes it hard to wear shoes. Foot pain is caused by the new bones that are formed when Paget’s Disease occurs.
