Searching for Answers
Inside Edition’s news team set out to find the answer. Lisa Guerrero, the presenter of Inside Edition, was sent to Leah’s home by its producers. Kevin, Sashi and Charlie, Leah’s three dogs, were also enrolled. Guerrero was given a paw by each of Leah’s furbabies who would later play a key role.
The presenter used a medical cotton pad to swab the paw pads of the three dogs in the yard, the street and Leah’s bedroom. The data was then sent to a laboratory for analysis to determine what exactly the dogs had picked-up on that specific day. Leah, when Guerrero asked her what she thought the lab would discover, said she didn’t know. She confessed, however, that she had concerns about the results.
