Aerobic Workouts
Aerobic exercise of moderate intensity is not only beneficial for overall health, but also aids in increasing blood flow, which can eventually aid in the treatment of erectile dysfunction. Swimming and running are two excellent examples of aerobic exercises. Almost ten studies conclude that nearly 160 minutes of exercise per week for at least six months can reduce the frequency and severity of erectile dysfunction. Another study investigating testosterone levels and physical fitness in 87 men with erectile dysfunction found a negative correlation between testosterone levels and levels of abdominal fat and body fat. These studies suggest that exercise may result in an increase in testosterone levels and a decrease in body obesity.
