Systemic sclerosis
Sexual and erectile dysfunction is a potential risk for multiple sclerosis patients. Multiple sclerosis patients can develop erectile dysfunction for a variety of reasons, including physiological impairment, association with lesions in the cortex, and lesions in the spinal cord. Multiple sclerosis-related physiological impairments can cause genital paresthesias, also known as genital numbness. Men with paresthesias experience difficulty initiating and maintaining erections, as well as a decrease in libido.
