Prescription drugs

Few patients receive a prescription for a medication that momentarily inhibits sweating. These medications have a systemic effect.
These medications prevent the sweat ducts from functioning. When using this treatment, athletes, those who labor in a hot environment, and those who live in a warm climate must exercise extreme caution. The organism may be incapable of cooling itself.
Utilizations: These medications may effectively treat whole-body perspiration. This medication may also be useful for postmenopausal women who experience excessive cranium sweating.
These medications that inhibit perspiration gland function may have the following adverse effects:
unclear vision
dryness of the pharynx
Abnormal pulsation (palpitations) of the heart.
Wet pupils
The likelihood of adverse effects increases with increasing doses. Before taking this medication, you must discuss the benefits and risks with your dermatologist. (8)
