A portable medical device harms perspiration glands.

This is a newly approved treatment by the FDA. A medical professional, such as a dermatologist, must administer these remedies. If this option is available, the dermatologist will employ a device that blocks electromagnetic radiation. This energy is corrosive to the sweat ducts. In one or two visits, it may be possible to eliminate the glands. Once obliterated, sweat glands are eliminated permanently. This device may only be effective for armpit treatment because armpits have sufficient subcutaneous fat to safeguard them. This device cannot be used to treat the feet and extremities because these areas lack sufficient fat.
This is a novel option for treatment. Unlike other hyperhidrosis treatments, there is limited information regarding this one. We do not know how long the effects last. The long-term effects of the drug are still unknown.
