Definition, Symptoms, Causes, Triggers, Risk Factors, Diagnosis, Complications, Prevention, Treatment, and Management of Anaphylaxis.

Circulatory Management

Vascular dilation and increased permeability as effects mediated by histamine have been described previously. As a result of these two factors, circulatory fluid deficit may occur. Heart function is directly correlated with blood volume. In all cases of anaphylaxis, an intravenous line is inserted to replenish circulatory volume. Typically, normal saline solution is administered intravenously to compensate for fluid loss. Normal saline has no significant side effects. Circulatory management is intended to maintain blood volume and normalise blood pressure.
