Symptoms and Indications of Cellulite
In women older than 20 years, cellulite manifests as wrinkling or notching of the skin in the breast, femoral, and gluteal regions. It is colloquially known as “orange-peel” or “cottage-cheese” epidermis. These manifestations are all localized, and there are no other systemic or general symptoms caused by cellulite.
The subsequent may be associated local complaints:
Tightness
There may be complaints of tightness in the affected region as a result of the stretching of the epidermis against the fat layers. The sclerosis of the fiber cords that reside beneath the skin can also contribute to the perception of congestion and constriction in the affected area.
In addition, dimpling of the epidermis causes grape-like appearance of skin tissues. Additionally, it increases skin stretching and may contribute to localized constriction.
