SSRI
Inhibitors of selective serotonin reuptake are used to treat anxiety disorders. SSRIs increase the functionality of brain cells that regulate positive emotions. They are antidepressants and reduce the symptoms of anxiety. For some individuals with anxiety, SSRIs are more effective than SNRIs.
