Feeling miserable
Jennifer cried non-stop when they got home. She didn’t want to decide between her cat and her child. Eve comforted her. Eve assured Jennifer that she’d be there when they can’t be at home.
Eve had plenty of free time to become their babysitter.
Relieved
Jennifer felt better knowing that someone would always be there to watch over Luna. Jennifer gave birth to Lily a few weeks later. Luna was still acting strangely, but now her behavior became more erratic.
