Asking questions
In less than ten minutes, at least a dozen additional police cars had arrived on the scene. The police began asking both Julian and Jennifer questions immediately. The couple were in shock. They had no idea how serious the situation was until now.
Unsettling reason
The officers’ actions were certainly disturbing. Even more alarming was the fact that this had already begun when Jennifer was pregnant. They had chosen the wrong people.
