Survival rate
The survival rate for brain tumors is dependent on their type, size and age. It also depends on whether they are located in the brain or not. The likelihood of survival is higher if the tumor is benign than if it is malignant. Early treatment can prevent tumor growth and allow for the removal of the tumour. Untreated benign tumors can become malignant.
