Benign
They are less harmful than the other types of brain tumors because they proliferate at a slower rate. They do not invade distant tissues, but the surrounding areas. The tumors are not cancerous, but they can cause issues and affect the body’s proper functioning because an increase in size can cause pressure on the opposite side.
