Vomiting and Nausea
Patients with brain tumors may complain of nausea and vomiting. Tumors in the cerebellum (the posterior part of brain that controls balance) can cause nausea. The symptoms of brain tumors depend on the location of tumor. Tumors can cause swelling in the brain which can lead to nausea. They are all common side effects that can occur when cancer is treated with chemotherapeutics and other treatments.
If nausea and vomiting persist for more than one week, get worse in the morning or even interfere with sleep, they may be signs of a serious illness and require immediate medical attention.
