An In-Depth Guide To Atopic Dermatitis

Take bleach bath

The American Academy of Dermatology suggests chlorine baths as a means of preventing flare-ups. A bleach bath reduces the quantity of bacteria on the skin and other infections caused by bacteria.

Use half a cup of bleach and 40 litres of warm water to clean a bathtub; do not use concentrated bleach as it can cause skin irritation. Soak the entire body or just the afflicted areas for 10 minutes in the water. Avoid submerging the cranium. Take a bleach bath once or twice per week at most.
