Endocrine Disorders
Endocrine disorders can alter the function and morphology of the skin, leading to a variety of skin manifestations. The endocrine disorder may manifest on the skin as a result of hormone excess or deficiency. Endocrine disorders are not the cause of atopic dermatitis, but they can contribute to its development or exacerbate its symptoms.
