True Feelings
John released the poor wolf from the trap to show his compassion for animals. They may be noisy and feed on livestock and wild animals, but they are doing it to scare away predators. John was aware that domestic animals were sometimes attacked by wolves, but he also found himself in the territory of a wolf.
