What’s That?
It was bobbing up and down my rod. Brodie yelled, “It was heavy and felt huge!” He was excited to feel that he had caught a big fish because his rod was brand new. “I was scared my rod would break and snap.”
When the leathery object was removed, they realized it was an old bag. The bag’s size and weight indicated that it had something inside. Brodie opened his zipper without thinking. When he opened the bag, he called his uncle Ben.
A mystery item
Ben noticed that the bag had aged a lot as he held it up. Ben would not have known how old the bag was if it hadn’t slithered from the bag. The ‘thing,’ which slithered out of the bag, revealed the truth.
The purse was not damaged or distorted, even though it had been submerged in water for quite some time. The leather was stained and faded but it was still solid and whole. They peeked into the bag. They saw some random items and others that they could not identify. Ben’s heart started to pound as soon as he saw a specific object.
